Frequently Asked Questions
How long does delivery take?
It is best to order your prescriptions no later than 5 working days before you are due to run out just to be on the safe side.
It usually takes 2-3 working days for GP practices to process repeat prescription requests, and we need 24 hours to assemble and check your order.
Do I need to sign for my prescription?
To receive your medication it needs to be signed for by you or a nominated person over 16 years of age.
If this isn’t possible, in exceptional circumstances we can post your medication through your letterbox if appropriate. For safety reasons, this can only be done with your prior written consent.
What if I forget to order my prescription before I run out of medication?
Of course, we know it can be tricky to keep track of your medicines and everyone gets ‘caught out’ now and again.
We will always do what we can to help if you are running out of medicine unexpectedly. You should never feel you just have to ‘go without’ or cannot ask for help so please speak to our pharmacist.
How much does the delivery service cost?
The pharmacy repeat prescription delivery service is completely free.
Unlike some other pharmacies we DO NOT restrict our service to house-bound patients only and we DO NOT charge you an administrative fee for delivery.
